2021 Artist Exhibitions

Many Voices from One

After almost three years, my 2019 Mastery Program graduates have completed their run with me, and have wonderful work to show for it. Please help me celebrate them by viewing the virtual exhibition.

We expected to spend four weeks together over two years but only squeezed in two before life took the unexpected detour. We went online.

Each persevered and triumphed with work meant to make them (and me) proud. You will enjoy seeing the range of possibility of distinctive fiber and textile pieces, and if you love something you see, I hope you will take a moment to write to the artist, as they did not get the in-person exhibition I would have loved to see for them!

CST Member’s Exhibition

Reviewing the entries submitted for this members' online exhibition has been a thrilling time for us. Our offices are next door to each other and it hasn’t been unusual for Wayne to start the day by calling out to me, “You’ve got to come and see this!” One piece after another surprised and delighted us! And it was stunning to realize that this year’s exhibition has almost doubled over the size of our first exhibition in 2020.

The diversity of our community was always understood but never quantified until last year’s inaugu- ral exhibition. As was true then, this year we have tangible evidence of the many distinctive talents of participants, including quilting and stitching, along with the use of clay, and all varieties of mixed media and drawing.
