Lesson Four - Jody Wilke

I used the transparent paints to create my yellow green/red purple complements.  I find I am getting better at blending the colors using some water.  My chromatic grays are not very distinct but I did manage to get a green and purple cast.  I made two versions for collage #2.  2A:  muted background with small squares of pure hues pasted on top.  2B:  I cut the pieces so a little of the pure hue was visible.  I like this version the best.   I did a set of papers using opaque Orange and Blue paints.  I hope to do these exercises again using this set of complements but I suspect the lack of watercolor effect will make them less interesting.  Worth trying.
