Lesson Two - Janis D.

The first one I did was complete nonsense.  I didn't get it at all.  Crumpled that up and trashed it.  Decided not to be abstract until I understood what I was doing.  I have never run into this lesson before, although I have done many black and white paste ups for quilt ideas and in developing a visual language exercise. So I moved on to a familiar imagery, my little bird and took him out of the box, with increments of manipulative difficulty.  Perhaps now, I can loosen up a bit.
